We believe nature makes the healthiest foods
Why drink raw milk? Besides its amazing taste, raw milk contains a wide variety of essential nutrients, fats, proteins, anti-inflammatory and digestive enzymes, bioavailable vitamins, and minerals, all in a naturally-occurring way, making all its goodness easily used by your body. (It’s why people who are lactose intolerant can often comfortably digest raw milk!)
And since we lab-test every batch, you can feel confident that you’re getting milk that is produced to discourage pathogen growth.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add additional gallons of milk?
Yes! We offer both one-time purchases of raw milk, as well as the ability to add on additional gallons if you already have a raw milk subscription box.
This gives you the flexibility you need to ensure you have enough milk available until the next delivery date.
Can I purchase raw milk at a retail store?
No, our raw milk is only available through the Creamery Club, which is available for pick-up at drop sites throughout North Texas.
Raw milk is regulated differently from pasteurized milk. The State of Texas only allows us to deliver pre-purchased milk.
How long does raw milk stay fresh?
Armagh Raw Milk is sweet and fresh for 14 days if kept sealed and at 36 degrees. Once opened, we recommend enjoying it within 5-7 days.
Unlike its pasteurized counterpart, milk that is raw does not mold or go rancid. It ages and sours! There are many uses for sour raw milk. From making chocolate milk to sharing your raw milk with your pets and plants, don’t let it go to waste! Get some ideas from RawFarmUSA.com.
Do I get milk automatically?
Yes, if you are subscribed, your milk will be delivered to your chosen location automatically. Your card on file will be charged the Sunday before each delivery week.
Our subscriptions are set for a 1-year period and will automatically renew unless you choose to cancel. You will receive a reminder prior to your delivery date. All you need to do is pick up your milk and enjoy it!
Our cows get milked every day, twice a day. Your subscription helps us ensure we keep our ladies on a healthy milking schedule.
What if I am unable to pick up my order?
You can select skip on your subscription up until the Sunday at midnight deadline the week prior to delivery. If you miss this deadline, you can ask a friend to pick it up and enjoy it, or you may send us an email at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery.
We’ll skip your delivery and you can double up your milk shares on the next delivery date (hello, homemade butter or ice cream). You won’t want to miss out on any of the delicious milk in your share!
I’m lactose intolerant, can I drink raw milk?
Many people who are lactose intolerant find they can consume raw milk without any problems.
Raw milk is a living food so it is more readily digested. It also helps promote the production of the enzyme needed to digest lactose.
You can read more at the Raw Milk Institute.
Is it safe to drink raw milk?
Raw milk is an ancient superfood full of nutrition! It’s rich with vitamins such as A and D, minerals, proteins, enzymes, and healthy, delicious butterfat.

What do your cows eat?
The cows at Armagh Creamery live outdoors on pasture year round, enjoying a daily fresh serving of grass during the growing season and stored grass during the winter or dry seasons.
We grow our own hay and preserve it on the farm as dry hay and fermented haylage. All of our feed is 100% organic and non-GMO. When it comes to dairy products, you are what they eat! The grasses and feed the cows eat directly contribute to the quality and flavor of our products.
Want to see for yourself? We host schools and organizations throughout the year, showing what regenerative agriculture and happy cows really look like. We also host Farm Days throughout the year, a family-friendly farm experience. Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter so you know when the next one is.
What does “lab tested” mean?
We test every batch for the coliform count, which shows the number of coliform colonies that are in 1 ml of milk if any. We also do an SPC (standard plate count) test which indicates the cleanliness of our milking equipment, reducing the risk of pathogen growth.
The lab can’t show us if there are specific strains of coliform, like e. coli or listeria, but if the coliform count is above standard, that could indicate an issue that needs to be addressed. If the SPC count is high it means that the milk has the capacity to grow bacteria whether good or bad and it would sour more quickly.
We are a licensed Texas raw milk dairy, so our milk is tested by the State Health Department monthly and quarterly. The State tests for pathogens associated with food-borne illness at regular intervals to ensure we’re maintaining healthy standards.
We have a strict test and hold policy. If coliform counts are high, we won’t sell it, to ensure the utmost quality and safety of our raw milk.
Also, our cows are blood tested by a licensed veterinarian every year to be verified free of Bovine tuberculosis (zero tolerance) and Brucellosis (zero tolerance).
Do you use antibiotics or other medicines for the cows?
We have a wonderful veterinarian who helps us to figure out the best natural remedy if a cow becomes ill. Antibiotics are rarely needed on the farm, but the health of our cows is important to us and we won’t allow them to suffer.
If other natural treatments haven’t worked and a milk cow must be treated with antibiotics, she is culled from the herd. We never allow a sick or treated cow’s milk to go in the tank.
